City Lights Entertainment — Website and print design for a London West End production company
City Lights Entertainment is a London West End production company that produces and tours large-scale live shows: classical music concerts, theatrical productions, and dance, across Europe and beyond. They needed a redesign of their existing website: something bold enough to match the scale of their productions, but practical enough for a small team to update on their own as shows are added, moved, and archived throughout the year.
The client had already chosen Wix as their platform, so the challenge wasn't just visual. It was working within the constraints of what Wix offers and finding the best possible solutions for their specific needs. Their shows tour across multiple dates and cities, but they don't sell tickets directly, which meant the standard Wix event tools didn't fit the brief out of the box. Beyond the design and build, I also handled image editing, wrote and structured the site content, and carried out SEO work to improve the site's visibility. A separate commission for a concert poster extended the collaboration into print.

Overview
The biggest design challenge was the event system. City Lights Entertainment tours shows internationally across varying date ranges, some with confirmed dates, others announced only as "coming soon." They don't handle ticket sales themselves, so visitors need to find show details on the site and then be directed to external ticketing partners.
Wix's built-in event manager is designed for simpler use cases: single-date events with direct ticket purchasing. To make it work for a touring company, I adapted the templates and restructured how events are presented, so that touring shows are displayed clearly without misleading visitors about where and how to buy tickets. The final system is one the client can maintain independently, without needing a developer to update tour dates or add new shows.
Visually, the site is built around the mood of the shows themselves. A palette of deep purple and white, paired with imagery drawn directly from the productions.
Poster
The poster was a separate commission, designed from scratch for a large-scale classical music concert produced by City Lights. The brief was to create something that felt as cinematic as the event itself, immediately communicating the scale and atmosphere of a live orchestral performance.
The design needed to work across both print and digital formats, carrying enough visual weight to hold its own at large scale while remaining legible and striking in smaller promotional contexts. This was a chance to extend the City Lights identity into a different medium, translating the brand's boldness from screen to paper.
